Where do we start?
The initial steps are to send us the following:

Sketch / Paper Drawings / Reference Drawings or the cad format that need to be converted to
another CAD format

In
what format can the drawings be sent?
The
files can be sent in any graphic format, such as TIFF, JPEG or even PDF.
Paper drawings can also be couriered to our office. AutoCAD,
Microstation, ArchiCAD, MapInfo, TurboCAD, Revit and other drawings can
also be emailed to sales@cadconversion.com.au us for 3d modelling and
animations.
What drawing standards are followed?
We stick to Drawing Standards as prescribed by you. However we can also
use default standards such as AIA guidelines.
How do we communicate?
Communication can be done by email, phone, or fax. We can also set-up an
FTP Transfer for you to upload your files.
In what resolution should the paper drawings be scanned?
The paper drawings can be scanned starting from 150 DPI – 200 DPI,
however the most important part is the clarity of the information to be
sent.
What kind of turnaround time can be expected?
The turnaround time depends totally on the project as well as the output
required. We can also work on short deadlines if required.
Do you spell-check the drawings?
Yes we maintain high quality of the drawings, be it text or any other
information.
How do you ensure security of data?
We do not disclose any computer & paper data generated by us or sent
to us during any project. Also if you wish to we have a standard
Confidentiality Agreement that you and CAD Conversion Specialists will
sign before commencement of the project.
How can you send us paper drawings and heavy data files?
We have very fast internet services and can transfer a huge amount of
data through the Internet. We can also burn CD's and post it to you as
per your convenience or if you are sending us CD's, please post your
